This KN95 according to Chinese standard (GB 2626-2006) is a particle-filtering respirator with a filter effectiveness >= 95%. The filter material as well as the whole design of the KN95 respirator is chosen in a way that the mask also protects against particles that are so small that they cannot be seen with the human eye.
